It is suspected that the victim of the body parcel case in Andhra Pradesh was murdered

Forensic officials who conducted a post-mortem analysis of the partially decomposed body of a man sent to a woman in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district said the man was murdered.

The dead body of Sagi Tulsi of Yendagandi Rural Municipality of West Godavari District was sent in a wooden box on Thursday. In a handwritten letter found in the parcel, the convicts demanded Rs 1.36 crore. They have warned women that they will face serious consequences if they do not pay the amount.

Doctors who conducted the post-mortem at the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Eluru on Saturday said that the victim appeared to have been strangulated to death.

Meanwhile, investigating officers are trying to identify the victim and determine the motive behind the murder. The question is being raised as to why the dead body was parceled to Ms. Tulsi with a threatening letter.

During the interrogation, it is understood that the auto driver who delivered the parcel to Ms. Tulsi told the police that a woman called the police on her mobile phone and asked her to give the parcel.

Police are verifying mobile phone call records of Ms Tulsi, her sister Revathi, her father Mudunuri Rangaraju and Revathi’s husband Siddharth Verma.

However, it is said that the mobile phone of the woman and Siddharth Verma, who gave the parcel to the auto driver for delivery, was switched off.

West Godavari Superintendent of Police Adnan Naeem Asmi has sent a team to various places to search for Siddharth Verma, who absconded after delivering the parcel to Ms. Tulsi’s house in Yandgandi. Hindu Saturday.

“We have started an investigation to ascertain the whereabouts of the body and the reason for the murder. Efforts are being made to confirm the identity of the victim, said the SP.
