Vakkam Maulvi Memorial Lecture and Vakkam Maulvi Memorial Award 2024 will be held on December 21 at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.
Organized by the Wakkom Maulvi Memorial and Research Centre, the event marks the conclusion of the centenary celebrations of the 1924 Aluva All-Faith Conference, where Wakkom Maulvi participated along with Sri Narayan Guru.
The Vakkam Maulvi Memorial Award will be presented to senior journalist TJS George for his contribution to media and public life. Writer-critic Sunil P. Elialdom will deliver a memorial lecture.
