RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Tuesday that he finds “Urja” (energy) in the land of Morya Gosavi and that it is India’s prime responsibility to present its glorious way of life to the world so that others can follow and find happiness. Prosperity
Speaking at the inauguration of Morya Gosavi Sanjivan Samadhi in Pimpri Chinchwad, he said, “Chinchwad is a holy and awakened land. The presence of Morya Gosavi Maharaj is felt here. Morya gets ‘Energy’ in the land of Gosavi. The religion of Moray must go all over the world. May the whole world be blessed by Mangalamurthy. And everyone should contribute to his religion.”
Chinchwad Devasthan Trust Chief Trustee Mandar Dev Maharaj, Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanstha Samiti Chief Trustee Rajendra Umap, PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Chinchwad Devasthan Trust Jitendra Dev, Keshav V and Devraj Dahal were present on the stage.
Bhagwat said that religion, which is considered the basis of everyone’s life, should be protected and awakened according to the changing times. The essence of Indian ethos lies in ensuring the welfare of all, he said.
“It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain balance and patience for the smooth functioning of the world order. In Indian culture, there has always been a tradition of going back to nature. In today’s terms, this could be described as ‘giving back’. Our religion is structured on the principle of ‘giving back’. Our forefathers recognized and practiced it as nature itself works in this aspect,” he said.
He said that our forefathers not only understood the concept of balance in religion but also led an example of peaceful living ensuring harmony and progress for all.
“This religion ensures the welfare and progress of all, so India should live, develop and guide. It is India’s prime responsibility to show the world its glorious way of life so that others can follow and attain happiness and prosperity,” he said.
Bhagwat said that the entire structure of the world is based on conflict. “For the past 2,000 years our lives have been influenced by prevailing ideologies. Although this has increased the facilities, it has also given birth to constant fights. That is why our forefathers adopted Sanatan Sanatan Dharma which is based on spirituality and makes material life beautiful. The sense of connectedness inherent in it is the foundation of the universe,” said Bhagwat.
Bhagwat said he was immersed in the history of Chinchwad, saying that he was lucky to have the opportunity to seek the blessings of Morya Gosavi Maharaj. “Identities like Sant Tukaram Maharaj, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Ramdas Swamy stepped in to sanctify this land.”
