Hyderabad: For the first time, the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-Madras) has introduced the Fine Arts and Culture Excellence (FACE) course in its undergraduate (UG) programs for the academic session 2025-26.
The course aims to encourage students who have excelled in the Fine Arts and Culture stream. B.Tech is allotted two seats under FACE. and BS course students, pursuing their studies at IIT-Madras. Out of the two seats, one will be reserved for women candidates and the other will be gender neutral. The admission process for FACE will not be conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) portal but will be conducted on a separate portal (https://jeeadv.iitm.ac.in/face). This portal is maintained by IIT-Madras, where other IITs can offer seats under FACE or participate in the admission process.
