BJP leaders meet ISKCON monk’s Bangladesh lawyer Kolkata News

A delegation of BJP leaders including Arjun Singh met Hindu monk Karthik Maharaj on Tuesday Bangladeshi lawyer Ravindra GhoshChinmoy has been defending Krishna Das, a Hindu monk who is in jail in North 24 Parganas district. They congratulated Ghosh for his efforts to stand up for the rights of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.

The meeting took place at Ghosh’s son’s residence in Barrackpore, where the lawyer is currently undergoing treatment for a bone injury.

“He is a brave man. We appreciate his efforts and everything he has done so far despite such difficult circumstances to fight for justice for the Hindu minority in Bangladesh. Rabindra Ghosh’s Courage to Fight for Justice for Hindu Minorities in Bangladesh. Despite threats to his life, he did not panic and that is an inspiration to many of us,” said Arjun Singh.

Emphasizing the need to stand up for human rights, Karthik Maharaj said, “We pray for the release of Chinmay Krishna Das. To support slaves is to stand up for human rights. Also, Rabindra Ghosh’s commitment to justice reflects a true sense of humanity.

Meanwhile, Ghosh said, “I am grateful for the support. The situation of minorities in Bangladesh is miserable, and I will continue to fight against injustice.

“The interim administration’s silence on radicalism and violence is worrying. This is an insult to justice,’ he said.
