Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is going to start new courses for women at Urdu Hall in Himayat Nagar from the next academic year. This initiative is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes that educational institutions must proactively reach out to students instead of waiting.
The announcement was made by Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor of MANU, in the inaugural session of the seminar titled ‘Urdu University Se Taleem Meri Kamiyabi Ka Raj’. The program is organized by Dean Alumni Affairs and Manu Alumni Association.
In his address, Prof. Ainul Hasan mentioned the success of the evening college at Manu Model School, Hyderabad, starting this academic session. He encouraged the alumni to strengthen ties with the Urdu speaking community. He said that through the discussion, they will be aware of each other’s views and common interests.
The Vice-Chancellor assured the alumni of the university of support for their initiatives and said their success would ultimately benefit the current students and the institution as a whole. He also distributed certificates to the participants in the program.
Dean Alumni Affairs Coordinator Prof. Syed Nazamul Hasan delivered the opening speech while Dr. MCJ Associate Professor Mustafa Ali welcomed the attendees and hosted the event. Aijaz Ali Qureshi, President of MANUU Alumni Association concluded the program with a vote of thanks. Prominent former students also presented papers at the conference.
