After implementing sports quota, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is set to implement a new culture quota for students. The institute will announce more details on December 17 morning. Admission is expected to be based on JEE Advanced score.
IIT Madras claims to be the first IIT in the country to introduce admission for fine arts and culture excellence enthusiasts in its undergraduate programs. The program aims to further encourage deserving students to pursue higher education while excelling in fine arts.
