Neglecting government food, Yadadri Bhuvangiri hostel caretaker suspended

A show-cause memorandum has been issued to the principal of the school after the caretaker has been suspended after gross violations and errors were found in the menu and cleanliness of the dormitory of a social welfare residential school in Yadadri Bhuvangiri district.

Yaddri-Bhuvangirika District Collector M. Hanumantha Rao, the caretaker of the dormitory of the residential school at Hanumanwada in Bhuvangiri L. Issuing the order to suspend Ramesh, the principal of the school, C Jagadeeswar Reddy, has asked for an explanation.

It is mentioned in the order that the diet menu issued recently by the government is not followed in the hostel and the quality of food is low. Instead of giving curd according to the menu, boarders were served curd.

In addition, the caretaker was found to have assigned the task of assisting the cook to the students, which was intolerable by the order.

The order stated that due to the extreme carelessness of the caretaker and the principal of the school, both the kitchen and dining area were in an unsanitary condition and the food safety committee of the institution was not working.

The District Collector inspected the premises on December 15 and issued special instructions to the headmaster and caretaker, but the next day the situation remained the same, action was taken.
