Adani Gangavaram port has set a new record in urea export

Visakhapatnam: Adani Gangavaram Port successfully offloaded 19,199 metric tons of urea from MV Altus within 24 hours of berthing, setting a new record for urea discharge. This milestone highlights the port’s commitment to operational excellence and efficient cargo handling.

The Adani Gangavaram port management said that the record discharge was possible through the strategic use of mobile harbor cranes, hoppers and warehouses. The port’s continued investment in infrastructure and technology, along with a strong emphasis on safe and efficient operations, has been key to achieving this feat. The port’s integrated approach, with seamless connectivity to railway facilities, ensures speedy and reliable transportation of fertilizer cargo to farmers across the region.
