WPL Player Auction 2025 Date & Time, Live Streaming Channel & TV Telecast: With the Women’s Premier League (WPL) season 3 auction almost upon us, all 5 teams are looking to strengthen their squads.
120 players are in the auction pool including 91 Indian and 29 foreign cricketers, including 3 from associate nations. There are also 82 Indian uncapped players and 8 uncapped overseas players. However, since all the franchises have more or less retained their squads for the last season, there are only 19 slots up for grabs, including 5 slots for foreign players.
Gujarat Giants have Rs 4.4 crore and 2 overseas slots with 4 slots while UP Warriors have Rs 3.95 crore with 3 slots remaining and 1 overseas slot remaining.
Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians have 2.50 crores and 2.65 crores respectively while Royal Challengers Bangalore have 3.25 crores remaining. DC has 4 slots with 1 overseas slot remaining while Mumbai has 4 slots with 1 overseas slot remaining. Bengaluru, meanwhile, has 4 slots with no overseas picks left.
West Indies’ star all-rounder Deandra Dottin, who has had a controversial result against Gujarat over her fitness, is up for auction and is expected to fetch a hefty sum.
