The cast and crew of the upcoming film were introduced in the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Baby JohnIt includes Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamika Gabbi, Atlee and Kalis. During the show, Varun opens up about fatherhood And how life has changed since he and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their daughter Lara in June this year.
Sharing a poignant and funny anecdote, Varun said, “Earlier I used to be abused by one woman, but now two people abuse me. I’m learning how to beat him, how to wrap him. Sometimes I get scared when he starts crying. Sometimes at night, when you are tired and she starts crying, I pretend to get up but Natasha gets up before me and goes to soothe her. No, but you should go because you’re worried. ” Her candid confessions about the ups and downs of parenthood struck a chord with audiences, who couldn’t help but laugh and empathize with her respective experiences.
Earlier, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Varun Dhawan shared his deep insight into being a parent, revealing the intense protective instincts that have emerged since the birth of his daughter Lara. Explaining how fatherhood has affected him, he said, ‘I think when any person, any man, becomes a parent, it is a different experience for the mother, I feel that she becomes a tiger, only that moment is something. But, as a man, I would say, when we become parents, for some reason, you feel protective of your daughter. I’m sure you feel for the sons too, but the daughter…if anyone harms her so much (small) I will kill them. I’m dead serious when I say this. Literally, I will kill them.
Varun Dhawan’s next cinematic outing, Baby John is said to be an adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri. Directed by Kalij, the film promises high octane action. It is slated to hit theaters on December 25.
