The India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s forecast for the next few days is good for sudden rise and fall in temperature.
The temperature has increased in Pune since last few days Seen the dip and the rise It is mostly due to the low pressure area formed in the Arabian Sea. The cold weather has cleared from this region and the clear sky and the attack of cold winds from the north have brought down the mercury. Clear skies help avoid long-range radiation that has a cooling effect on the ground. The IMD said light smog may occur in some parts of the city during the morning.
Different parts of the city sometimes show different readings in the minimum temperature which is mostly due to local conditions. Highly urbanized areas like Magarpatta and Koregaon Park show higher minimum temperatures than areas like Pashan and NDA which have relatively less concretized record low minimum temperatures. Pune and its surrounding areas reported a low of 10 degrees Celsius in the last week of November and NDA recorded another low of 9 degrees Celsius. It is expected that this current pattern will continue for the next 72 hours and there will be some change in the subsequent weather.
