MCD Introduces Revised Factory Licensing Policy In Delhi, Here Are The Changes | Delhi News

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has introduced a streamlined floor-wise factory licensing policy, bringing clarity to a process that was unclear earlier.

Under the revised policy, if a factory owner is operating on more than one floor of a building, they will now need a single factory licence, provided the factory is owned by one person and the industrial or manufacturing processes on the floors are integral. Works declared under the same GST number.

However, if different GST numbers are associated with factories operating on separate floors of the same building, the factory owners should obtain a separate factory license for each GST unit.

Additionally, if there are factories owned by multiple people in the same building, each owner needs a separate license.
