Actor Keerthy Suresh and businessman Anthony Thattil tied the knot on December 12, 2024 in a heartwarming traditional ceremony in Goa. The wedding, a celebration of love and cultural heritage, was steeped in South Indian traditions and brought to life with exquisite artistry and heartwarming details.

Kirti was a vision of ethereal beauty in a bespoke handloom Kanjeevaram saree designed by renowned designer Anita Dongre. Crafted over 405 meticulous hours, the saree was inspired by Korvai technique. A mustard yellow and green color blend warai woosi saree featured intricate gold zari geometric checks and nature motifs. “Korvai” weaving added a beautiful purple border, and the pièce de résistance was a poem run by Kirthy herself, delicately woven into the fabric – a true labor of love.

Bridal jewelery made by Vummidi Bangaru Jewelers consisted of gold jhumka earrings, bangles, necklaces and attractive bangles. Her hair was adorned with the traditional Andal Kodai, Neethi Kushir, Suryapirai, Chandrapirai headpiece and Jadnagam complete with fragrant Mogra flowers.

Hair artist Teji Singh and makeup artist Anigha Jain kept her look simple yet bright, focusing on kohl-lined eyes and a natural glow. Styled by Shruti Manjari and team, Fame A symbol of grace and tradition.

Thattil stole the show in a handwoven silk kurta designed to match Keerthy’s royal style with a korwai dhoti and a kanjeevaram, all made by Dongre. Her dress took 105 hours, and reflects the same meticulous craftsmanship as Kirti’s sari.

The ceremony, beautifully documented by Stories by Joseph Radhik, captured candid moments of the couple, and their adorable pet dog Nike, who joined the festivities in traditional attire. The inclusion of their beloved pet was also prominently featured in their wedding hashtag #ForTheLoveOfNyke, which Keerthy shared on Instagram.

Kirthi later paired it with a maroon saree embellished with silver zari thread, a matching maroon blouse, and contemporary diamond and ruby ​​jewellery.
