He claimed, ‘The Chief Minister understands that the people are angry about what is happening in Bangladesh. People are coming with BJP to protest those atrocities. Now she is trying to do damage control.”
On Monday, a person named Mixon Halder came to the meeting and met the officer. Later he said, “I am a resident of Barisal district. After the fall of Hasina government, we Hindu community was attacked and our property was looted. I fled the streets and took refuge in West Bengal. Today I met the officer and explained how the Hindu community was attacked in Bangladesh.
The opposition leader said, “Bangladesh is now in the hands of extremist and fundamentalist forces. The police, army and caretaker government have now become puppets. I appeal to all countries, especially responsible countries like America and India, to stop radicalization in Bangladesh and save Hindus and Buddhists.
