Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 and Rajasthan Global Business Expo at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Jaipur on Monday. He will also address the meeting on the occasion.
The slogan of the investment conference to be held from December 9 to 11 is ‘Full, Responsible, Ready’.
The summit was attended by top industrialists, business leaders and diplomats including Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Aggarwal, Gautam Adani, Anand Mahindra, Sanjeev Puri, Ajay S Sriram, Keiichi ONO, Ambassador of Japan.
More than 5,000 distinguished business leaders, investors, delegates and participants will attend the event and investment proposals worth over Rs 30 lakh crore have been signed in the run-up to the summit.
The conference will host 12 sectoral sessions on topics including water security, sustainable mining, sustainable finance, inclusive tourism, agribusiness innovation and women-led startups. The conference will also have eight country sessions with participating nations on topics such as ‘Water Management for Liveable Cities’, ‘Industry Versatility – Manufacturing and Beyond’ and ‘Trade and Tourism’.
A Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave and MSME Conclave will also be organized as part of the programme. Rajasthan Global Business Expo will feature themed pavilions like Rajasthan Pavilion, Country Pavilion, Startup Pavilion. More than 32 countries including 16 partner countries and 20 international organizations will participate in the summit.
