The inaugural International Moot Court Competition of the National Defense University (RRU) was concluded on Sunday in the presence of Supreme Court Judge Suryakant. A three-day competition was organized with the slogan ‘Global Economy and Financial Security Law’.
Justice Suryakant, who was present at the concluding session of the program, highlighted the importance of moot court competition in building the career of law students. “Moot court competitions build confidence, foster teamwork and refine public speaking skills which are essential attributes … I strongly believe that you want to be an aspiring advocate, whether you want to be a member of the judiciary or an academic,” He said. Former Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Kalpesh Jhaveri and others were also present at the closing ceremony.
