Days after Union Home Minister Amit Shah asked the Delhi Police to crack down on cases of extortion and gun violence, the Union Home Secretary has given special assignments to all CP-rank officers in the capital. A special CP recently visited a police station in South Delhi and asked the SHO how many records he kept there. The SHO said 26, but the correct answer was 25. Mocking him, the Special CP immediately asked the SHO to come to his office and show him “Registration No. 26”.
