Filmmaker Subhash Ghai said on Sunday that ‘everything is fine’ He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital In suburban Mumbai. According to media reports, Ghai, who is known for films like Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Pardes and Taal, was admitted to the hospital after suffering from breathing problems, weakness, frequent dizziness, memory loss and difficulty speaking.

In a post on social media platform X, the 79-year-old filmmaker expressed his gratitude for the love and interest he has received from his friends and fans.

“I feel very blessed to know that many friends have expressed their love and affection for my health. After my busy stint at IFFI Goa. All is well now and see you soon. Smile again. Thank you (sic),” the filmmaker said.

Earlier, in a statement issued by Ghai’s representative, the director was admitted for regular check-up. Last month, Ghai published his memoir titled “Karma’s Child” co-authored by journalist and writer Suveen Sinha.
