Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow is offering Faculty of Science Scholarships for Online Masters students for January 2025. This scholarship of £1,800 will be awarded to new students joining one of the online programs in the Faculty of Science in the 2024/2025 academic year commencing in January 2025. To be considered for the Strathclyde Business School Faculty of Science Online Masters Scholarship, candidates must be new students offering admission to an online MSc in the Faculty of Science for January 2025 intake and must be self-funded. Students receiving a full scholarship, for example from a government office or embassy, ​​will not be considered for this scholarship.

Applicants who have been awarded a scholarship will be notified within four weeks of submitting the scholarship application form. To receive the scholarship, to receive the award, must be enrolled in one year of an online master’s degree in the 2024/2025 academic year, starting in January 2025 and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria in your studies.

Online master’s degrees in the Faculty of Science are studied part-time over three years. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a £600 award over three years of study, or a £900 award over two years of study towards the payment of the student’s tuition fees, subject to academic progress.

Successful candidates will be selected based on their academic performance (current and/or previously obtained), their scholarship application form along with any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

Scholarship recipients are expected to engage in online student ambassador activities during their studies, such as supporting online student recruitment activities. The awards are only available for online master’s, on-campus master’s degrees are not eligible, an official statement added, adding that students who defer their admission offer will not be eligible.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle. Students are eligible to hold only one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde and the decision of the Faculty of Science regarding the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals will not be considered, he added.
