Taal, Pardes director Subhash Ghai hospitalized in Mumbai Bollywood news

Famous filmmaker and director Subhash Ghai has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai due to health problems. A 79-year-old man was taken to the ICU on Wednesday after suffering from breathing problems, weakness and frequent dizziness.

According to hospital sources, Ghai is currently under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors including neurologist Dr. Vijay Chaudhary, cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale and pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parkar.

Hospital sources have informed Screen that there are signs of improvement in Subhash Ghai’s health. Sources said that there is a possibility that Ghai will be shifted from ICU to general ward within a day.

Meanwhile, the filmmaker’s spokesperson said that he is completely healthy and was admitted for a routine check-up.

Subhash Ghai has directed movies like Kalicharan, Karj, Hero, Vidhata, Meri Jung, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Khalnayak, Pardes, Taal etc. He last directed the film Kanchi in 2014.
