However, doing so is not recommended at all, said Dr Uday Sanglodkar, Senior Consultant Hepatologist and Clinical Liver and Transplant ICU, Gleneagles Hospital, Parel, adding that high fruit consumption is believed to be harmful to the liver due to fructose.
