Punjabi pop star Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his Bengaluru stop for the “Dil-Luminati India” tour in the most relatable way – by indulging in the local cuisine. His first destination? The famous Rameswaram Cafe.
A video shared by Team Dosanjh on Instagram captures the singer’s journey, with his departure from the Punjab airport and his arrival in Bengaluru. Wasting no time, Dosanjh went straight to Rameswaram Cafe, where he ate their signature ghee podi idlis from the comfort of his car. In the clip, she is seen enjoying idlis before moving on to crispy dosas, ending her feast with a classic filter coffee.

The video, which has gone viral with over 1.5 million views, was posted with the caption, “Diljit Anna Touchdown Bengaluru”.

Dosanjh will perform at the NICE ground in Madabhara on Friday. The concert is part of his tour of ten cities in India.
Hyderabad Controversy
Diljit Dosanjh recently came into limelight when the Telangana government sent a legal notice ahead of his Hyderabad concert. The notice, sent hours before his Friday performance, urged the singer to refrain from performing songs that glorify alcohol, drugs or violence. Like tracks Patiala Peg and five stars was expressly called out in the complaint.
Dosanjh addressed the issue by saying that it was “very easy” for him to avoid those tracks as he does not promote any intoxicants and does not consume alcohol while on stage.
