In a chat with Brut, Chunky shared, “After giving all these big hits, I suddenly found myself jobless. I was doing a lot of hero films but that didn’t depress me. I was confused about what happened here so I decided to go to Bangladesh and work there. Had a good run for five years. He got married to Bhavna in 1998 during his film career. “Actually, I took Bhavna to Bangladesh for half the honeymoon because that time. I had to complete a film and I think Ananya was also pregnant in Bangladesh,’ he said with a laugh.

Chunky, who returned to Mumbai to work after Bhavna reminded him that he could only retain his identity as a Bollywood hero if he worked in Bollywood, said Chunky said he “went from office to office looking for work.” By this time his daughters were young and he was beginning to find himself as a parent. “When my daughters came into my life, it was almost like restarting my career.
